Destiff Privacy Policy
Last Updated: September 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how EZ Recurring LLC ("we," "us," "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects your information when you use the Destiff mobile application ("App" or "Service"), a flexibility and mobility training app.
Questions? Contact us at team@ezr.llc.
The short version:
- Destiff has no accounts. We never ask for your email address, phone number, or a password.
- Your mobility assessment videos are analyzed entirely on your device and are never uploaded to us or to anyone else.
- Nearly everything the App knows about you — your goals, your assessment results, your session history — is stored only in the App's private storage on your phone.
- The only data that leaves your device is what is needed for the optional weekly leaderboard (a display name, a profile photo if you set one, and your points), plus purchase data handled by RevenueCat and the app stores.
- We do not sell your personal information.
1. What Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide During Onboarding
When you set up Destiff, you tell us about yourself so the App can build your plan and score your mobility against age- and sex-based norms:
- Name / display name (required to continue past onboarding; used in the App and, if you use the leaderboard, shown to other users)
- Age (selected as an age between 18 and 80; stored as a birth year)
- Sex (used only to select the correct reference norms for mobility scoring)
- Your primary goal (for example: touch your toes, reduce stiffness, improve posture)
- Problem areas and pain frequency — which body regions bother you and how often
- How often you currently stretch
- How you heard about Destiff (App Store, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook/Meta, a friend or coach, search, or other)
This information is written to the App's private on-device storage. It is not transmitted to our servers.
1.2 Camera and Video (Mobility Assessments)
Destiff records short video clips of you performing mobility tests. Those clips never leave your phone.
Here is exactly what happens when you run an assessment:
- The App records a short, muted clip of each mobility test using your device camera. Microphone access is not used — recordings have no audio.
- The clip is written to the App's temporary storage on your device.
- A pose-estimation model (Google MediaPipe Pose Landmarker) that is bundled inside the App binary analyzes the clip locally on your device. There is no network call and no cloud processing.
- The model outputs 33 numeric body-joint coordinates per analyzed frame. From those numbers the App computes your joint angles, your test scores, your mobility age, and your percentile.
- Only the derived numeric results are kept. The video footage is discarded once your joint positions have been extracted.
We never receive, view, store, or transmit your assessment video. No employee, contractor, or third party of ours has access to it.
1.3 Assessment Results and Practice History
The App stores the following on your device:
- Assessment results: per-test measurements and joint angles, mobility age, composite percentile, camera position and device tilt at capture time, quality-check failures, and timestamps
- Which body regions you have tested and when a retest is due
- Dates of completed practice sessions, your streak, and how many program days you have finished
- XP, level, and unlocked achievements
- Your subscription status flag and whether you have already seen the one-time offer
- Your reminder preferences and the last time the App asked you to rate it
- A randomly generated device identifier (see 1.6)
1.4 Profile Photo
Setting a profile photo is optional. If you choose one:
- We request photo library access so you can pick an image. We only receive the single image you select.
- The image is resized to 256×256 pixels and re-saved as a JPEG in the App's private storage on your device.
- If you use the leaderboard, that resized image is uploaded to our servers so other players can see your avatar next to your name. Uploaded avatars are served from a public URL keyed to your device identifier. Do not use a photo you would not want other Destiff users, or anyone with the link, to see.
- If you never use the leaderboard, the photo stays on your device.
1.5 Leaderboard Data (Optional)
Destiff includes a weekly league leaderboard. When you use it, the following is sent to and stored on our servers:
- Your device identifier — the random UUID described in 1.6, which serves as your account key
- Your display name (up to 20 characters)
- Your profile photo, if you set one
- Score events — the points you earn and the timestamp of each, used to compute weekly standings
- Your current streak and mobility score, used for the alternate leaderboard rankings
- A last-seen timestamp
At the end of each week, standings (rank, display name, and points) are frozen into a weekly snapshot so past results remain viewable.
Your individual assessment measurements, joint angles, goals, pain areas, age, and sex are never sent to the leaderboard or to any server.
1.6 Device Identifier
The first time you open Destiff, the App generates a random UUID on your device. This is not your hardware ID, IMEI, MAC address, advertising ID, or any identifier assigned by Apple or Google — it is a random value created by the App and unique to your installation. It is used as your leaderboard account key. When you register for the leaderboard, our server issues you a long-lived signed token (JWT) bound to that UUID. Deleting and reinstalling the App generates a new UUID and disconnects you from your previous leaderboard entry.
1.7 Purchases and Subscriptions
Subscriptions are sold through the Apple App Store and Google Play and managed through RevenueCat, a third-party subscription infrastructure provider. When you view the paywall or make a purchase, RevenueCat receives and processes:
- An anonymous RevenueCat app user ID
- Purchase receipts, transaction identifiers, product IDs, entitlement and subscription status, and renewal/expiration dates
- Device, platform, app version, and country/locale information collected by their SDK
We never receive or store your credit card number, bank details, or full billing address. Payment is handled entirely by Apple or Google. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
1.8 Advertising Identifier and Attribution (iOS & Android)
On iOS, Destiff presents Apple's App Tracking Transparency ("ATT") prompt asking for permission to track you across apps and websites owned by other companies. The purpose is to measure which advertising campaigns bring people to the App. On Android, the App declares the advertising ID (AD_ID) permission for the same purpose.
- If you deny the ATT prompt (or opt out of ad personalization on Android), your advertising identifier is not accessed for cross-app tracking.
- You can change your choice at any time: iOS → Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking; Android → Settings → Privacy → Ads.
- Denying tracking does not restrict any feature of the App.
1.9 Notifications
If you enable reminders, Destiff schedules local notifications directly on your device — daily practice reminders, evening streak-savers, and win-back nudges. There is no push server and no push token. Your reminder times and streak state never leave the device, and we cannot see whether a notification was delivered or opened. You can turn reminders off in the App or in your operating system settings.
1.10 Sharing Cards
If you tap Share on a result, the App renders an image on your device and hands it to your operating system's share sheet. What happens next is controlled by you and by the app you send it to; we are not involved and receive nothing.
1.11 What We Do Not Collect
- No email address, phone number, or password — there are no accounts
- No location or GPS data of any kind
- No contacts, calendar, or photo library beyond the single image you pick for an avatar
- No Apple Health / HealthKit or Google Fit data — Destiff does not read from or write to those services
- No assessment video, ever
- No microphone audio — camera recordings are muted
- No third-party analytics, crash-reporting, or advertising SDKs beyond RevenueCat and the platform-level attribution described in 1.8

We do not use your information to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.
3. Who We Share Your Information With
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
We share limited data only with the following:
- Other Destiff users — if you use the leaderboard, your display name, avatar, rank, and points are visible to other players in the league. Nothing else is.
- RevenueCat, Inc. — subscription management and purchase validation (see 1.7).
- Apple Inc. and Google LLC — payment processing, app distribution, subscription billing, and, if you permit tracking, ad attribution. Their handling of your data is governed by their own privacy policies.
- Our hosting and database providers — the infrastructure that runs the leaderboard service, acting as processors on our behalf under contract.
- Legal and safety — we may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or court order, or where we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
- Business transfers — if EZ Recurring LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred. We will notify you of any such change in ownership or control.
4. Data Retention
- On-device data (profile, results, history, avatar file) is retained until you delete it in the App using "Reset all data," or until you uninstall Destiff. Uninstalling removes the App's private storage.
- Assessment video is retained only for the seconds required to extract joint positions.
- Leaderboard data (device UUID, display name, avatar, score events, streak, mobility score) is retained while your entry is active and for as long as needed to compute historical standings. Weekly snapshots preserve past rankings indefinitely unless you ask us to remove yours.
- Purchase records are retained by RevenueCat, Apple, and Google according to their own policies and applicable tax and accounting law.
5. Data Security
- All communication between the App and our servers uses encrypted HTTPS connections.
- Leaderboard requests are authenticated with a signed bearer token bound to your device UUID.
- On-device data is stored in the App's sandboxed private storage, protected by your operating system and by your device passcode/biometric lock.
- Score submissions are rate-limited by a daily points cap as a basic anti-cheat measure.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, and you use the Service at your own risk.
6. Health-Related Information
Some of what Destiff records — your joint range of motion, your reported pain areas and pain frequency, your mobility score — is health-related. We treat it accordingly:
- It is stored on your device only and is never transmitted to us. The single exception is the aggregate numeric "mobility score" and streak, if you use the leaderboard.
- We are not a covered entity or business associate under HIPAA, and Destiff is not a medical device or a healthcare service. See our Terms of Service for the full medical disclaimer.
- We do not use health-related information for advertising, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
7. Children & Minors
Destiff is intended for adults. The App's onboarding only allows ages 18 and above, and the Service is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with information, contact team@ezr.llc and we will delete it.
8. Your Privacy Rights
Because Destiff keeps most data on your device, you already have direct control over it:
- Access: Your profile, results, and history are visible in the App at any time.
- Correction: You can change your name, avatar, goals, and reminder settings in Settings.
- Deletion: "Reset all data" in Settings erases your on-device profile, assessment results, session history, XP, and achievements. Uninstalling the App removes everything stored locally.
- Server-side deletion: To remove your leaderboard entry, display name, avatar, and score history from our servers, email team@ezr.llc. Include the display name you used so we can locate the record. We will respond within 30 days.
- Permissions: Camera, photo library, notifications, and tracking permissions can each be revoked at any time in your device settings.
9. California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how it is used and shared; the right to delete personal information we hold about you; the right to correct inaccurate personal information; the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information; and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
The categories of personal information we collect are: identifiers (a randomly generated device UUID; an advertising identifier only if you permit tracking); customer records (display name, profile photo); commercial information (subscription and purchase history); internet or network activity (interactions with the leaderboard service); and inferences and health-related information (mobility scores) — the latter kept on your device except as described in Section 1.5.
To exercise any of these rights, email team@ezr.llc. You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf.
10. European & UK Privacy Rights (GDPR)
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
Our legal bases for processing are:
- Contract — providing the App's core functionality, including the leaderboard and your subscription
- Consent — camera access, photo library access, notifications, and app-tracking permission, each of which you may withdraw at any time in your device settings
- Legitimate interests — securing the Service, preventing cheating and abuse, and understanding in aggregate which channels bring people to the App
EZ Recurring LLC is the data controller. Contact us at team@ezr.llc.
11. International Data Transfers
EZ Recurring LLC is based in the United States, and the servers supporting the leaderboard and our service providers (including RevenueCat) may process data in the United States and other countries. Privacy laws in those countries may differ from those in your country of residence. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. By using the App, you understand that the limited data described in this Policy may be transferred and processed outside your country.
12. Policy Updates
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted here with a new "Last Updated" date. If we make material changes to how we handle your information, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you in the App. Your continued use of Destiff after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
